Internet Issues (Proxy)

If you are seeing widespread issues accessing websites please follow the steps below.

 

  1. Go to computer proxy settings (change proxy settings)
    1. Turn off "Automatically Detect Settings"
    2. Turn off "Use Setup Script"
  2. Check if the issue is resolved. If you can access websites now this confirms the proxy is the problem.
  3. Reboot the proxy if the above steps worked.
    1. Go to https://proxy.dassle.us
    2. Press the Down arrow in the top right next to "Apply Settings"
    3. Click on "Save and Restart"
  4. Wait for the proxy to restart and see if the issue is resolved.

If you have issues localized to a specific site follow the below steps.

  1. Get Eric's approval to add an exception for that domain.
  2. Go to https://proxy.dassle.us
  3. Go to Squid Proxy
  4. Go to Exclusions
  5. Add New
  6. Add the Domain of the website you want to create an exception for
  7. Save Changes
  8. Press the Down arrow in the top right next to "Apply Settings"
  9. Click on "Save and Reload"
